Microsoft is getting rid of its music app, Groove

If you didn’t know, Microsoft also has its own music streaming service known as Groove. However it never managed to gain an audience like Spotify or Apple Music. And now, it will be shutting down soon.

Mirosoft said that following statement

Tomorrow we’re notifying customers that on December 1, 2018, the Groove Music iOS and Android apps will also be retired and, effective June 1, are no longer available for download,

Microsoft Groove let its users stream music and was an MP3 player. It was primarly made for Windows 10 users. However now, users will have to rely on other clients for music playback.
