Lenovo could release the world’s first all screen smartphone
Latest trend in the smart phone industry is to see which company can make the smallest bezel on the a phone, while having a large screen size. So far Apple, and arguably Samsung, have been leading the pact. Both their latest smart phone feature a high screen to body ratio and minimal bezel to give a seamless feeling of the screen blending with the edge of the phone.
However both the companies have ye still not been able to entirely get rid of the bezel to make an all screen smart phone, but it seems that an unlikely competitor might’ve, and will beat them in this race.
Chang Cheng, the Vice President of Lenovo is teasing a new phone from the company. A partial image of the phone has been released, showing what seems to be a lack of bezel on top of the phone. It is unknown how Lenovo will be handling the front facing camera.
Reports say that the phone will feature a 95 percent screen-to-body ratio. Cheng claims that this new phone, titled the Z5, will include four technological breakthroughs and 18 patented technologies. What they exactly are, we don’t know yet, we will have to wait for the details.
The company hasn’t given a release date yet, or hasn’t even official shown off the phone. It could have new features such as facial recognition or even an built-in display finger print scanner. More details will come later
